I’d be lying if I said it was easy. The truth of the matter is, it’s not. Sometimes I’ll spend hours on a single rhyme, or days, or I’ll give up and come back to it later. Anyone who says they write a verse in less than 20 minutes is full of shit, I believe. Even if I have my ideas stacked, if I’m flooded with ideas, I’m always trying to figure out how to make it better, make it smoother—that’s how it is. Unless you’re just somebody who doesn’t care.
